The principal, James Adams, has been involved in virtually all aspects of the real estate business for 40 years. Adams participated in the planning, engineering, marketing, sales, leasing and management of many successful projects.
As Deputy State Land Commissioner and Director of Real Estate, Adams had management responsibilities for the 9.2 million acres of state Trust land. During his management, over 86,000 acres were sold, totaling approximately $2.9 billion in land sales. Additionally, he directed a commercial ground leasing program with projected revenues in excess of $2 billion. Projects include: Desert Ridge Commercial/Mixed Use, American Express Corporate Campus, Scottsdale–101 Retail Center, Happy Valley Towne Center, and SITIX Manufacturing.
Adams served in management roles for a number of large scale communities, including the 1,100 acre Scottsdale Ranch and 4,200 acre McCormick Ranch. His experience also includes independent residential, commercial and mixed use projects. Responsibilities included overall management, project management, contract management, construction management, entitlements, marketing and sales.
Adams has provided real estate consulting, advisory and brokerage services for numerous parties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho and Hawaii. Most recently, he has been assisting clients in the valuation and negotiation of properties in the South Mountain/202 Freeway corridor, and assisting clients in the acquisition and brokerage of residential and commercial properties in the metro Phoenix area.
